Airlift Onshore purchased by Arne Stang
The sale includes all shares in subsidiaries Airlift AS and Vertech Offshore
Helicopter operator Airlift Onshore has been acquired by Norwegian holding company Arne Stang, as per an agreement with former owner NHV Group announced on 15 December.
Airlift Onshore offers visual site inspections for both onshore and offshore sites through a combination of helicopters and drones. Airlift Onshore is also the parent company of subsidiaries Airlift AS, which provides safety inspection services using a fleet of 15 helicopters, as well as drones, and Vertech Offshore, which provides flare tip replacement services.
According to Peter Midthun, CEO of Arne Stang: “Putting the agreement in place has been an ongoing discussion since autumn 2021, and we are pleased to announce that the purchase now appears to be in order.”
“We have been working on the sale of Airlift for some time, and we are happy that we have now reached a goal with a local owner, so that the activity we have built up over more than 30 years at Bringeland, can continue,” said Stian Hårklau, Director of Airlift AS.
