AirMedCare Network to raise $100,000 for US veterans
US air ambulance membership network AirMedCare Network (AMCN) is partnering with Homes For Our Troops – a non-profit organisation that builds and donates specially adapted homes for injured post-9/11 veterans – to raise $100,000 to help Homes For Our Troops on its way to achieving its mission
AMCN will support the non-profit charity over the next 12 months, donating $2 for every new membership they receive until they reach $100,000.
“With 11 per cent of our network’s employees being former military, this is a cause that is particularly close to our hearts,” said AMCN Vice-President of Membership Keith Hovey. “The culture within AMCN is one of service and assistance within the community. We’ve been looking to partner with an organisation that mirrors this value. Homes For Our Troops exemplifies this belief by building homes and rebuilding lives.”
Executive Director of Homes For Our Troops Bill Ivey expressed his gratitude towards AMCN: “Their outstanding and enthusiastic support will help raise awareness about our organisation and advance our mission of building and donating specially adapted custom homes for deserving veterans. We are looking forward to working closely with them as we build homes and rebuild lives.”
