Alpine Helicopters enhances firefighting readiness with CAMP Systems integration

Alpine Helicopters has entered a strategic partnership with CAMP Systems International to implement advanced maintenance and inventory management solutions across its fleet, supporting critical aerial firefighting and utility missions throughout Canada.

The agreement covers CAMP’s Maintenance Management (CAMP MTX) and Inventory Management (CAMP IMS) platforms, along with integration into its cloud-based data environment. The move is intended to reduce downtime, improve parts tracking, and provide Alpine with real-time insights into fleet status – key requirements for high-tempo firefighting operations during peak wildfire seasons.

“With the growing scale and complexity of wildfire response, maintaining aircraft availability is essential,” said Scott Hayward, Director of Maintenance at Alpine Helicopters. “The CAMP system allows us to streamline maintenance, improve inventory control, and ensure that our aircraft are ready to deploy when and where they’re needed most.”

Based in the Canadian province of British Columbia, Alpine supports a range of vertical lift operations, including aerial firefighting, mining support, heliskiing, and tourism. Its firefighting capabilities are a critical component of provincial and regional emergency response efforts, requiring high levels of fleet readiness and reliability.

CAMP’s cloud platform offers Alpine a digital backbone for predictive maintenance and operational oversight. By centralizing maintenance tracking and enabling data-driven decision-making, the system helps the operator maintain compliance, improve safety, and respond more effectively during high-pressure deployments.
