Astronautics sells electromechanical product line to Extant Aerospace

The agreement includes production, repairs, and spares activities associated with the company’s electromechanical horizontal situation indicator, attitude director indicator, and bearing distance heading indicator products.

The sale is effective immediately and ongoing transfer activities that will transition the product line from Astronautics to Extant will continue throughout summer 2022.

Customers seeking information regarding production, repairs, or spares for any of the listed products should continue to work directly with Astronautics’ sales operations team during the early stages of the transition.

“The decision to sell this product line, which created numerous long-standing customer relationships and was foundational to Astronautics’ early success, was carefully considered,” said Astronautics’ Chief Executive Officer Dr Ronald Zelazo. “We firmly believe that Extant will support our customers with high-quality, aftermarket avionics solutions that will keep their aircraft maintained and operational.”
