Australian air medical company secures contract
Australia’s Aspen Medical has retained the Western Australia (WA) Resources Aero-Medical Evacuation (WARAME) contract for a period of five years
Two Cessna Citation aircraft, each with dual stretcher and critical care capabilities, will facilitate the deployment of a doctor and paramedic for 24/7/365 response throughout WA.
“Based in Karratha, this life-saving capability continues our legacy of service support to WARAME members since 2009 and provides ongoing medical intervention and transport coverage to the member companies’ dependents and the broader community,” said Matt Hughes, Aspen Medical’s Executive General Manager.
Aspen Medical provides aero-medical retrieval services across Australia with operations based in Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland. The company has international reach for the retrieval of patients who require urgent repatriation for medical treatment in Australia.
