The evacuation order put in place for the area west of Arroyo Hondo, California, has been cancelled as firefighting crew contain Alisal Fire

Electricity provider Southern California Edison is in the process of replacing power poles and will continue inspections via helicopters throughout the week.

Firefighting crews will continue to use aviation assets as conditions allow. To date, the Alisal Fire has burned 14,500 acres in and around Goleta.

With funding from Southern California Edison, local firefighting agencies now have additional aircraft to combat wildfires.
