Avionics flight deck solutions from UA

Universal Avionics have announced two updates to its technological offerings
First, the company has announced the introduction of five new InSight display systems solutions for Falcon 900B, Falcon 50, Hawker 800XP, Gulfstream G-111 and MD 902 Explorer. Designed as an integrated flight deck solution for both retrofit and forward fit aircraft, InSight features UA’s second generation of embedded 3D Synthetic Vision System (SVS), advanced mapping capabilities, electronic charts, and more. Top system benefits include enhanced situational awareness, increased reliability, and intuitive control and input for enhanced crew interactivity.
Secondly, the company announced the successful first flight of its Gulfstream G-III aircraft, featuring the latest in interactive Human Machine Interface (HMI) technologies for enhanced head-up / head-down co-ordination.
Integration of new technology

VBACE
Both announcements from Universal Avionics come during the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA)’s GO Virtual Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (VBACE). The event is being held on 2 and 3 December, and will play host to exhibition booths from industry suppliers, as well as interactive education sessions covering a range of topics, including operations, safety, maintenance, local / regional group issues and emerging trends.
