Bangkok Hospital hosts CAMTS Global accreditation workshop
The half-day workshop reviews the process, policies, and standards of CAMTS Global, offering information for services seeking accreditation or reaccreditation
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) Global accreditation workshop will be held at Bangkok Hospital for air medical transport services in Asia.
BDMS Emergency Services has been accredited with CAMTS since 2015 and will share its experiences and benefits of accreditation with air medical personnel in the region.
The workshop will be held on Saturday 15 June 2024, from 13:00 – 17:00 hrs
Speakers include:
- Stefan Becker, President and Founder of CAMTS Global
- Dhun Damrongsak, MD, MPH, DAvMed (UK), board member
- Eileen Frazer, RN, CMTE, Executive Director and Founder
- Karuna Sriworanan, BDMS Flight Nurse and secretary of the Interfacility Transfer Committee.
The workshop covers:
- How to begin the application process
- Interpretations of the policies and second edition standards
- Site visit scheduling and process
- Common misunderstandings and cultural differences.
