BCEN accepts nominations for BCEN awards
The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) is accepting nominations for the BCEN awards until 3 July
The awards annually recognize a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) and three employers that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to emergency nursing excellence.
Board certification is a process that assures the public that a nurse has attained the highest levels of clinical knowledge in their specialty. Specialty certification is linked with a host of positive patient, nurse and organizational outcomes.
Anyone holding a CEN or CPEN board certification is eligible for the 2020 Distinguished CEN Award and 2020 Distinguished CPEN Award respectively. Employers of BCEN-certified emergency nurses are eligible for the 2020 National Certification Champion Award.
Nominations will be accepted until 3 July at 23:59 hrs on the BCEN website.
