The aerospace company has introduced Danny Maldonado as new Chief Commercial Officer of commercial business sales

Responsible for the full extent of Bell’s global commercial aircraft sales, aftermarket solutions and customer service, new Chief Commercial Officer Danny Maldonado will also run the Bell Training Academy.

Before his return to Bell, Maldonado previously served for nine years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Textron Financial.

Prior to leading Textron Financial, Maldonado served as Bell’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In the role at Bell he led major development initiatives, such as enhanced sales and marketing programs, the integration of diverse customer support operations, and expansion of credit sources for the company’s international customers.

Bringing over 30 years of experience in leadership roles encompassing sales, business development, customer support, and finance at Textron, Maldonado will return to HAI Heli-Expo 2024 in Anaheim, California to represent Bell in his new leadership role.

Maldonado said: “I am thrilled to return to HAI Heli-Expo as Bell’s Chief Commercial Officer, leading a function I’ve dedicated a large part of my career to. Bell will showcase its versatile civil products and aftermarket solutions, and I look forward to re-engaging with Bell’s customers and partners at the world’s largest commercial rotorcraft trade show.”

Earlier this year, Bell was awarded a CA$2.28 billion (US$1.68 billion) helicopter maintenance contract by the Canadian government.
