Bell has announced its acquisition of Eagle Copters Maintenance (ECM), an Australian maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) firm, expanding its aftermarket services in the western Pacific

The takeover includes ECM’s two facilities in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, and Redcliffe, Queensland. Prior to the take-over, ECM had been a Bell customer service facility (CSF) for approximately six years.

“This acquisition enables us to provide local support and solutions to our customers in Australia and in Asia-Pacific,” said Chris Schaefer, Director of Support and Services for Bell. “We are confident ECM has the right portfolio of service offerings for competitive aftermarket support in the region. We are excited to have them join the Bell family.”

“We’ve always felt a part of the Bell team from being a CSF partner,” said Grant Boyter, Director, ECM. “We have a positive and strong reputation in the region and provide dedicated support to our customer network. The team is excited for this new journey with Bell and to continue bringing robust solutions in Australia and Asia Pacific.”

Bell currently has 12 company-operated service centers around the world, providing aircraft maintenance, blade repairs and customizations in countries including Canada, Czech Republic, Singapore, the UK, UAE, Australia, US, and China.
