The Colombian Air Force assisted in the evacuation of a biologist who was caught in a landslide

The Colombian Air Force assisted in the evacuation of a biologist who was caught in a landslide whilst conducting research work in the department of Valle del Cauca, Columbia on 14 July.

A UH-60 helicopter from Air Combat Command No.2 was dispatched to evacuate the biologist. After being freed from the landslide, the crew then administered first aid to the man and stabilised his condition. He was then airlifted to the nearest hospital.
