BlueRoom Simulations unveils new Airbus H175 environment
The simulator environment was designed with special missions operators in mind, and allows for the practice of a range of full-team scenarios
BlueRoom Simulations has introduced a new Airbus H175 environment to its BlueRoom Mixed Reality (MR) Aeromedical Simulator.
The Australian simulation training firm stated that the H175 environment, developed in partnership with Airbus Helicopters, was “purpose-built” for air medical and search and rescue (SAR) operational training.
BlueRoom said the simulator environment allowed operators to run “full-team scenarios on demand”, rehearsing “pediatric trauma, maritime transfers in sea state, hypoxia and massive transfusion”. They added that it had been configured to match “Australian equipment profiles, protocols, and documentation”.
The company also affirmed that the simulator would allow for greater standardization of procedures, communications, and role clarity across bases and partner agencies, and better interagency interoperability between emergency operators for joint tasks.
BlueRoom also recently added a module for the CH-47F Chinook.
