Boost Systems receives European STC for its cPCDS

Boost Systems has received approval from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its Complex Personnel Carrying Device System (cPCDS)
The supplemental type certificate (STC) allows for the use of the cPCDS with the Boost human external cargo (HEC) system for the Airbus H125, which was approved by EASA in 2023.
The system was developed in collaboration with Swiss firm AirWork & Heliseilerei (A&H), and enables multi-person rescues to be conducted.
Boost said the system has a carry capacity of 500kg when used in tandem with the H125, and can be installed “within minutes”.
“Working closely with A&H allowed us to offer a cPCDS specifically for our Airbus H125/AS350 HEC system here in Europe,” said Derek Thomas, President of Boost Systems.
