CHC Helicopter appoints new CEO
Tom Burke will succeed previous incumbent President and CEO Jørn Madsen from 1 February
Madsen, who joined the business in February 2023, has stated that he is stepping down from the role to ‘focus on other professional and personal commitments’.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Jørn for his effective leadership,” said Harry Quarls, Chairman of CHC’s board of managers. “Over the past year, the senior leadership team has defined a path towards growth and innovation.”
He added: “We are delighted to welcome Tom Burke and are confident the company is well positioned to be the global leader in vertical aviation.”
CHC Helicopter is a helicopter service provider that provides search and rescue, general transport, and maintenance services around the world.
The company launched a new flight planning software, ClearSkies, in June of last year.
