CNC Technologies to complete three Bell 505s
One of the helicopters is for the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office
Aviation technology and wireless communications company CNC Technologies – which serves the law enforcement, military and government markets – has announced contract awards for three Bell 505 helicopter integration projects.
One will be for the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office in the US state of New Mexico, while the other two will be for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
These contracts bring the number of Bell 505s that CNC has delivered to the law enforcement market to six in the past year.
All three aircraft will be completed at AeroBrigham in Decatur, Texas. Each aircraft will feature L3Harris WESCAM MX-10 imagers, Shotover ARS-750 moving map systems, and Macro-Blue monitors.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will have the Trakka TLX searchlight, while San Juan County will have the Spectrolab SX-7 searchlight.
CNC is also providing its signature ongoing training and 24/7 technical support.
Ed Van Winkle, Vice President of Law Enforcement Sales and OEM Projects at CNC, said: “We look forward to developing a long-term relationship with both of these agencies, and we are excited to be providing our services, support and training to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.”
