Coulson Aviation awarded USFS contract

The aerial firefighting firm has been awarded a $7.2 billion 10-year large air tanker (LAT) contract by the US Forest Service (USFS)
Coulson Aviation was one of five organizations awarded one of the indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity contracts.
The contract includes operations using Coulson’s C-130H Hercules and Boeing 737 Fireliner aircraft, as well as maintenance support.
In response to the news, Britton Coulson, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Coulson Aviation, said that the company was ‘honored to continue to provide [their] services in support of the USFS’. He added that the company ‘looks forward to being part of the group selected by the USFS to aid fire suppression in the years ahead’.
