Coulson Aviation enters contract with Chile for the Boeing 737 FireLiner

The company has extended its aerial firefighting support to the South America wildfire response

Coulson Aviation has announced a successful contract award with Chile’s National Forest Corporation (CONAF) through its strategic partnership with Chilean emergency services provider BRYSA. This contract expands Coulson’s ongoing support of firefighting efforts in Chile with a diverse fleet of aircraft, including a Boeing 737 FireLiner, C-130 Hercules, and Citation air attack aircraft.

“We are pleased to continue strengthening our partnership with CONAF, bringing our proven aerial firefighting solutions to Chile once again,” said Coulson Aviation President and COO Britton Coulson. “By leveraging the unique capabilities of our aircraft, Coulson is proud to be the trusted supplier for Chile’s aerial firefighting needs. We look forward to supporting CONAF in their mission to safeguard Chile’s forests and communities.”

The addition of Coulson’s 737 FireLiner, a converted passenger aircraft specifically designed for aerial firefighting, will bolster CONAF’s aerial firefighting fleet, offering enhanced coverage and rapid response times to suppress fires across challenging terrains.

Earlier this year, Coulson Aviation announced the arrival of the company’s first Boeing 737-700 to be converted into the world’s highest-capacity large airtanker (LAT)w.
