DART launches new external basket for Bell 505
The company announced the launch of its new external cargo Heli-Utility-Basket for the Bell 505 on 17 July
The product will complement DART’s existing range of Heli-Utility-Baskets for models such as the Airbus H125, Bell 407, Robinson R66, and Leonardo AW119.
The stainless steel basket allows for quick installation, and enables operators to externally carry skis, cargo hooks, tools or other equipment safely. The basket’s lid features a self-locking handle, as well as a gas spring to enable easy lid opening and closing.
DART is collaborating with service center G2 Aviation throughout the product’s testing process, ahead of Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification. The product is now available for purchase worldwide, and DART stated that deliveries are expected to begin in September.
DART Aerospace was acquired by the TransDigm Group in the first half of 2022.
