Hampshire Police have issued a warning to drone owners to check restrictions on when and how they can operate their devices

The warning is intended to curb people who are expected to try and capture the ceremonial events on Monday 19.

In an attempt to remind the general public about the legal parameters and ramifications around drones, they took to social media: As a reminder, it is the responsibility of the drone owner to fly their drone safely and within the law.

"Our officers have the capability to detect unlawful drone use, to locate pilots and the power to seize equipment, and will seek to investigate and take enforcement action against anyone found to be breaking the law.

And that "More information on this guidance can be found in the Drone and Model Aircraft Code on the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website."

The issue around the emergency services and drone use is ongoing, and one the CAA is continually involved in.
