Chilean air services provider Ecocopter has acquired four helicopters – including three Airbus H125s and one H145

The aircraft will be delivered in two batches – the first arriving at the end of this year, and the second in mid-2023 – bringing Ecocopter’s helicopter fleet to a total of 18 aircraft. This includes 13 H125s, three H145s and two H135 helicopters.

Ecocopter will use them in a broad range of aerial work, including aeromedical transfers, forest firefighting, and support for the mining, energy and telecommunications sectors.

The orders are part of a wave of fleet expansion by the company in recent years – Ecocopter previously introduced another Airbus H125 helicopter into its Chilean fleet in February 2022.

“These new high-performance helicopters represent a clear step in our strategy to consolidate our regional presence in South America,” said Marcelo Rajchman, Ecocopter Corporate Manager.
