Enterprise UAS hosts public safety training day
Enterprise UAS, California-based unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology support and solutions provider, hosted a free two-day DJI public Safety UAV event on 12-13 June at Rio Lindo Adventist Academy in Healdsburg, California, US.
Local law enforcements, fire departments, SAR teams and other public safety officials from the Northern California area were all in attendance.
Following the success of Enterprise UAS’ first educational event that took place in February, the company decided to host a second in order to continue spreading accessible and professional drone training and education.
The event included: a ‘SWAT Hotel Scenario’ simulation training featuring a DJI Zenmuse Z30 zoom camera and XT2 thermal camera in a realistic setting; ‘Indoor Flying Practice’ and obstacle course with attendee fly time; ‘Search and Rescue Grid Search’ simulation training featuring the Matrice 210+XT2+Z30 and the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual; and ‘Mavic 2 Enterprise’ hardware and software capabilities review with attendee fly time.
“It’s incredible to see how many recognise how beneficial this technology is in their respective fields,” said Sam Nam, Co-Founder of Enterprise UAS. “There is a real need for providing quality training and making it accessible for the officials committed to protecting our communities.”
