Entrol, HTM Group, complete H145 D-3 flight test campaign
Entrol has successfully carried out a flight test campaign for its H145 D-3 flight training device (FTD) in partnership with Helicopter Travel Munich (HTM Group)
Luis Olarte, Entrol’s CEO said: “It became clear quite quickly that many of our customers would switch to the new five-blade model and that other operators would also rely on this aircraft in the future. The demand for a high-quality flight simulator was correspondingly high.”
He added that HTM Group was an ideal partner for Entrol in carrying out the tests, as the company already has a H145 D-3 simulator, alongside the necessary approvals and instrumentation.
Andreas Schühle, HTM Group’s Managing Director for the EASA Part 21J Development Operation and Head of Business Development added that HTM was ‘proud’ to have completed the flight test campaign.
“All our companies were involved: From our Part 21J development organization AAD to the fitting of the FTI by Intercopter, to the flight test organization, the entire HTM Group was closely involved. We are already looking forward to testing flying the finished simulator from our partner Entrol – we have been convinced of their quality for many years, not only through our own EC135 FNPT II,” he added.
Italian helicopter operator Air Corporate also recently acquired two Level 3 FTDs from Entrol based on the H125 and H145 helicopters in March 2022.
