Flight simulator manufacturer Entrol has announced the launch of a new mixed reality (MR) mission training solution
The MR Hoist Operator Station is designed to create an immersive training environment, focusing on communication between the pilot and hoist operator.
The solution integrates with Entrol’s line of flight simulators, and offers four-axis winch cable control, allowing the simulation of complex hoist maneuvers, including emergency scenarios such as engine failure or spinning cables.
The simulator features customizable mission scenarios tailored to mission types including search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, and offshore operations. It can also be adapted to a range of different aircraft configurations.
Entrol recently announced that it will supply a new H145 FFS Level B simulator to Air Corporate.
