Maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider First Aviation Services has expanded its support for the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk

The company stated that it would “integrate the resources of [its] individual subsidiaries” to provide a more “comprehensive set of aftermarket solutions, as well as a “single point of contact” for maintenance and repair needs.

Additionally, as part of the integration plan and to improve coordination between First Aviation’s subsidiaries that support rotor blade repair, California-based subsidiary Heliblade International will rebrand. The company will now do business under the name Aviation Blade Services, Inc. – West, bringing it in line with First Aviation’s Florida-based subsidiary, Aviation Blade Services. First Aviation acquired Heliblade in mid-2022.

“Our new program is designed to provide operators with a complete maintenance and repair solution,” said Paul Bolton, First Aviation’s Chief Operating Officer. “By combining our in-house expertise with the capabilities of highly qualified outside vendors, we can offer a more efficient and cost-effective service to the Black Hawk community.”

Elsewhere, Airbus Helicopters named Indian firm Indamer as its new authorized MRO provider in December.
