First Black Hawk helicopter delivered to Romania
The helicopter and six others will be used for emergency response, configured for land, sea and police
The first Black Hawk helicopter has arrived at the headquarters of the General Aviation Inspectorate of the Romanian Ministry of the Interior.
Purchased as part of the European Vision 2020 project, the seven Black Hawks will be used in a variety of roles for emergency missions.
The first was delivered on Saturday 11 November 2023 with three more to arrive this week. The final three will be delivered by the end of the year. The aircraft are intended for the management of emergency situations; three are configured for maritime operations, three configured for land operations, and one configured for use by the Romanian Police.
