Ronnie Ries will support the promotion and development of the company’s Foresight MX HUMS product

US-based health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) system developer GPMS has announced that Ronnie Ries will join the company as its new Vice President of Marketing, where he will support the development and oversee the promotion of GPMS’s Foresight MX HUMS solution.

Ries joins the company from Bell, where he worked for almost a decade. He was most recently employed as Bell’s Senior Manager of Commercial Marketing and Customer Experience, where he oversaw the marketing of aircraft, aftermarket services and the expansion of its customer portal.

He was also responsible for the marketing of Bell affiliate Aeronautical Accessories, which serves as a distributor of the Bell 407 Foresight MX HUMS.

He brings with him nearly two decades of experience.  He also has experience as Chair of the Civil Helicopter Subcommittee of the Transport Research Board, an independent advisory group to the US government.

Jed Kalkstein, President of GPMS, said: “With Ronnie’s knowledge and relationships, we look forward to engaging with our customers to proving how increased adoption of HUMS in light aircraft increases operator safety and lowers their direct operating costs in the process.”
