HeliOperations bid for NPAS competition
The company will use a Bell 429 helicopter in its bid
UK-based helicopter company HeliOperations has announced that it is bidding to compete for the Metropolitan Police (Met) National Police Air Service (NPAS) competition.
It will use the Bell 429 helicopter in this bid.
The Bell 429 is a high-performance helicopter used in multiple special missions settings, such as law enforcement, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), and public safety.
HeliOperations states that these specifications, alongside its ‘outstanding track record of aviation services and aircrew training for the public and private sectors worldwide is compelling’.
Steve Gladston, HeliOperations’ CEO, said: “Our highly competitive bid provides the Met with an opportunity to achieve a step-change in operational capability, performance and service provision.”
