HeliStream purchases third HEC from Boost

US helicopter services provider HeliStream has acquired another human external cargo (HEC) from equipment developer Boost Systems
The sale was announced at the Helicopter Association International (HAI) Aerial Work Safety Conference in Boise, Idaho.
“This is the third Boost HEC system that HeliStream will be operating on their Bell mediums,” explained Jeff Yarnold, Vice President of Operations at Boost. “They are just completing the installation on the first Bell 412EPX to be used in the United States utility industry.”
Rod Anderson, Director of Operations at HeliStream, added: “Working with Boost to equip our fleet, with the safest HEC Systems in the industry, was an easy decision.”
HeliStream provides a range of services across the rotorcraft industry, including in the aerial firefighting, charter, utilities and training sectors.
Boost Systems also announced Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval of its Personnel Carrying Device System (PCDS) with Insulated Suspension Lines and Flash Rated Harnesses in October.
