IMS New Zealand partners with Boost Systems to enhance NZ aerial firefighting capability

IMS New Zealand has teamed up with Boost Human External Cargo Systems to bring advanced aerial firefighting equipment to local operators. The partnership introduces the Boost Quick Release Cargo Basket for Airbus H125/AS350/AS355 helicopters, designed to integrate seamlessly with the IMS Cloudburst 1000L Multi-Drop Fire Bucket.

Built for speed and versatility, the Quick Release Cargo Basket offers tool-free installation, allowing rapid changeovers between firefighting, rescue, or utility missions. The stainless-steel construction and scratch-resistant powder coat ensure durability, while a self-locking lid and integrated peg step improve safety and accessibility.

The Cloudburst 1000L Fire Bucket, proven in global operations, delivers multi-drop water capability via the Initial Attack Monsoon Valve, enabling pilots to conduct several precise drops per load. Its adjustable swath plate and optional foam injection system further enhance fire suppression efficiency.

Together, the companies say, these systems provide a lightweight, rugged, and easily deployable solution for aerial firefighting, designed to help operators respond faster and more effectively during critical fire seasons.
