LifeNet of New York relocates service to Westernville
US-based air ambulance LifeNet of New York has relocated its LifeNet 7-14 service to a new permanent base
The 7-14 service has moved from its temporary base in the city of Watertown approximately 100km south to Westernville – an area within the Town of Western.
The new permanent base, being constructed in partnership with the Town of Western and its Volunteer Fire Company, will feature a newly built helicopter landing pad, hangar, and living quarters for flight crew.
The LifeNet 7-14 service will continue to serve residents of the Mohawk Valley region as it has since its launch in March 2023.
“Final operational preparations and move to our new home went very well,” said Colleen Gleeson, Account Executive at LifeNet of New York. “We are excited to be home, and we look forward to continuing to serve the region and be a critical resource to the community.”
