Lockheed Martin Canada appoints new General Manager
Glenn Copeland will oversee over 850 employees across Canada
Lockheed Martin Canada has appointed Glenn Copeland as its new General Manager for its Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) division.
As part of the new role, Copeland will manage over 850 employees across Canada, overseeing projects involving the production of specialized naval systems integrations and combat management systems. This includes overseeing Lockheed’s ongoing contract with the Royal Canadian Navy to provide critical design, engineering, and training support for its new and future ship fleets.
Copeland has years of prior experience in the defense sector
Prior to this latest appointment, Copeland previously worked as Lockheed Martin Canada RMS’s Director for Business Development, where he supported multiple lines of business including Integrated Warfare Systems and Sensors, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and the Training and Logistics arm of RMS.
Copeland also previously served as a senior Royal Canadian Navy Officer, leading the navy’s Fleet Readiness and Training Team, as well as holding positions such as Operations Officer for the Sea Training Atlantic Group and Executive Officer of HMCS St John’s.
