The medical and security partner will also showcase its new MedAire360 Portal at the 2022 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Florida

The MedAire360 booth is sure to spark the interest of NBAA-BACE attendees in Orlando this week. Medical experts will be answering in-flight calls, with the audience listening live through headphones to commercial aviation operations.

The integrated travel risk management company will also present the MedAire360 portal, which shows a real-time overview of the health and safety risks along a planned route. It depicts country, city and airport incidents and alerts, alongside detailed airspace risks by altitude. The portal allows users to upload flight routes and track fleet movement to provide a 360-degree health and security risk profile of the mission.

“International travel has rebounded from the pandemic with new challenges, increasing the need for real-time in-flight medical assistance, as well as security support at travelers’ destinations,” explained Bill Dolny, CEO of MedAire Worldwide. “Our MedAire360 portal is an invaluable flight management tool to assist operators in these rapidly changing times.”

Dr David Strietweiser, MedLink Medical Director, said: “We receive over 300 calls a day from Business Aviation and Commercial Aviation clients – both pre-flight to assess a passenger’s wellness before getting onboard the aircraft and in-flight when a medical emergency arises. Symptoms range from a headache to as serious as a cardiac event. MedLink doctors are not only emergency room trained; they are trained in aviation medicine and altitude physiology. It is this combination that makes MedLink so unique."

The themes of this year’s NBAA-BACE are safety, sustainability, security, innovation and workforce development.
