Medway Air Ambulance renews EURAMI accreditation, earns NAAMTA accreditation

Medway Air Ambulance, a fixed-wing air ambulance provider based in the US state of Georgia, has been awarded full air ambulance accreditation from both the European Aero-Medical Institute (EURAMI) and the National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA).

Both organizations specifically recognized Medway’s specialty neonatal and pediatric transport capabilities – Medway is a contracted provider for pediatric Centers of Excellence, and a regular provider of medical flights for children’s hospitals across the US.

Medway also received individual endorsements for its adult patient transfers and commercial medical escorts.

“Earning both the EURAMI and NAAMTA accreditations this year highlights Medway's ongoing commitment to excellence in patient care,” said Medway's Vice President of Business Development, Mark Chapman.

Medway also announced that the ARGUS International Base Operations Audit and Rating Program has awarded them with its ARGUS Platinum rating for aviation. This distinction is based on a comprehensive audit of aircraft maintenance, pilot training programs, emergency response plans and safety management systems.

“The ARGUS Platinum rating reflects our determination to ensure Medway is the safest air ambulance program in the country,” said Matt Kinney, Medway's Vice President of Flight Operations.
