Metro Aviation announces three new HEMS partnerships
The company will support the operations of three more air ambulance providers across the USA in 2026
Metro Aviation, a provider of aircraft operations and completion services, has partnered with three new air medical providers.
The company has established partnerships with Vanderbilt LifeFlight, LifeFlight Eagle, and Children’s Nebraska, to provide air medical services.
Children’s Nebraska, based in the city of Omaha, will expand its pediatric air medical services by adding a new EC145 helicopter to its fleet, supported by Metro’s experience working in this field.
LifeFlight Eagle, based in Kansas City, serves communities in the states of Kansas and Missouri. Metro’s partnership with them will support their work serving rural communities.
Vanderbilt LifeFlight is the hospital air medical program of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Metro Aviation’s partnership will support its continued provision of critical air transport in the southeastern USA.
“These partnerships represent the heart of what Metro stands for – supporting world-class healthcare organizations in their mission to serve communities and save lives,” said Todd Stanberry, Vice President of Metro Aviation.
Metro Aviation signed a contract with Beta Technologies for the supply of up to 20 ALIA A250 vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft in November 2024.
