Over the past five years, 85 H125s have been purchased by North American law enforcement agencies

The Miami-Dade Police Department has placed an order for four new Airbus H125 helicopters. These additions will enhance the department’s aerial capabilities, further strengthening its commitment to public safety and operational efficiency.

Bart Reijnen, President of Airbus Helicopters and Head of the North America region, commented: “We are pleased that the Miami-Dade Police Department has selected the H125 to support their critical law enforcement missions. This order underscores the value that leading law enforcement agencies like Miami-Dade Police Department find in our helicopters, and we are committed to providing them with the highest level of support.”

The H125 comes equipped with advanced technology and safety features that make it well suited for law enforcement missions, including surveillance, search and rescue, command and control, and tactical operations.

Last year, AirMed&Rescue spoke to Captain Alex Vazquez, Officer-in-Command at Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s (MDFR) Air Rescue Bureau, about his organization’s work.
