Microflite orders second H145
The aircraft will join another H145 previously ordered from Airbus Helicopters in June 2022
Australian helicopter operator Microflite has ordered a second five-bladed H145 D3 in response to growing demand for its services.
It follows the order of the first H145 D3 by Microflite in June 2022, and will be used by the company to support its work in a variety of different mission types, including fire observation, search and rescue, utility, training, and commercial.
“The H145 has proven to be an excellent workhorse for our multi-mission operations,” said Jonathan Booth, CEO of Microflite Helicopter Services.
“With the second five-bladed H145 joining the fleet in the coming months, we can’t wait to see these versatile helicopters making a positive impact to our expanding training and commercial portfolio.”
Microflite currently operates a fleet of 20 Airbus rotorcraft, including H120, H125, H130, H135, and H145 helicopters. Airbus stated that the company was its “largest civilian helicopter customer in Australia”.
REISER Simulation and Training secured a Level D qualification for its Airbus H145 D3 full flight simulator earlier this week.
