Milestone Aviation extends AW169 lease with HeliKorea

The deal was unveiled during the Helicopter Investor London 2025 event

Milestone Aviation has announced a five-year lease extension agreement with South Korean operator HeliKorea for one Leonardo AW169 helicopter.

The AW169 aircraft, originally delivered to HeliKorea in December 2016, will remain dedicated to emergency medical services (EMS) operations in South Korea, supporting the country’s healthcare infrastructure.

“We are very pleased to strengthen our long-term partnership with HeliKorea with this lease extension,” said Sébastien Moulin, Chief Commercial Officer at Milestone. “Milestone has been supporting HeliKorea’s mission-critical operations for many years, and extensions like this are a key part of our ongoing efforts to diversify our portfolio through investment in mission-critical sectors such as EMS.”

Scott Min, Executive Director at HeliKorea, added: “We are pleased to strengthen our relationship with Milestone through this five-year lease extension of the AW169 and appreciate the team’s continued support. This reliable and mission-ready aircraft enables HeliKorea to continue providing high-quality medical support, thereby enhancing the welfare of the citizens of South Korea.”

Milestone Aviation recently leased four helicopters to Offshore Helicopter Services UK.
