New King Air 360C for Peruvian Army
The aircraft will be delivered in 2028, and will be used for a range of special missions operations
The Peruvian Army has signed an agreement to purchase a new King Air 360C twin-turboprop fixed-wing aircraft from manufacturer Textron Aviation.
The aircraft, due for delivery in 2028, is equipped with a cargo door and will be used by the army to “perform medical evacuations, transport patients, and provide rapid humanitarian aid during disaster relief efforts”.
The order follows the delivery of two King Air 360CHWs from the Peruvian Air Force.
“Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft designed for special missions continue to demonstrate unmatched reliability in some of the world’s most demanding environments,” said Bob Gibbs, Vice President, Special Mission Sales at Textron Aviation. “The King Air 360C will give the Peruvian Army a versatile, enduring platform for critical care transport and disaster response, and we’re honored to support their national mission.”
Mercy Air, an air ambulance program that serves the US states of California and Nevada, recently acquired a new Bell 407GXi helicopter.
