Norwegian HEMS provider Norsk Luftambulanse has confirmed that one of its helicopters crashed today near Sollihøgda in the county of Buskerud, to the west of Oslo. Two of those who were onboard the medical helicopter were killed.

The company stated: “All our staff are highly affected by this incident. We ask for your understanding that we now concentrate on the relatives and our staff.”
A 51-year-old man was the only survivor of the crash and was taken to Ullevål University Hospital in Oslo with serious injuries, according to reports.
The helicopter, an EC135, came down on the E16 highway. Witnesses have reported seeing it collide with electrical power lines before it hit the ground.
