OHSUK to acquire new Airbus H175
Offshore Helicopter Services UK (OHSUK) has announced its acquisition of a new Airbus H175
The company, which specializes in providing helicopter transportation and emergency response services to the offshore energy sector, received the aircraft at a handover in Marignane in the south of France last week, following the completion of test flights.
OHSUK confirmed that the aircraft would enter service over the North Sea in the near future, after it has flown to the UK to be painted.
The company previously announced plans to acquire two Leonardo AW139s in September last year, to spearhead its search and rescue (SAR) fleet.
“It is great news for us to be taking delivery of this new aircraft,” said Martin Stubbs, Managing Director of OHSUK. “By expanding the fleet, it reinforces our commitment to business resilience and providing the highest-quality service to our customers.”
This follows the announcement of a leasing deal with Milestone Aviation earlier this year.
