Osprey demoed for CSAR in Djibouti

Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) service members recently conducted a combat rescue demonstration for Kenyan Defense Forces officers to supplement a week-long personnel recovery engagement course. During the course, CJTF-HOA shared combat training rescue knowledge, public relations, and basic survival, evasion, resistance and escape skills. The 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron showcased its capabilities, including using a CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft to hoist personnel from the ground.
CJTF-HOA is a joint task force of United States Africa Command.
