PHI Aviation announces reorganization, new leadership appointments

Under the new structure, PHI’s operations will be divided into three geographically based units: PHI Americas (based in PHI’s global headquarters in Lafayette, Louisiana); PHI Asia-Pacific (PHI APAC, based in Perth, Australia), and PHI Europe, Middle East, and Africa (PHI EMEA, based in Greater London).

These three regions will be supported by five global support functions: Safety & Quality, Information Technology, Technical, Business Development and Sustainability, which will be based at the Lafayette office.

In addition, as part of the restructuring PHI will shut down its former international headquarters in Nelson, New Zealand – but will continue to operate its New Plymouth office in the country.

PHI Aviation Managing Director, Keith Mullett, said that the new global organization structure would create a single PHI Aviation team ‘with a strong focus on customer service, safety and business efficiency’.

“The three geographic units are perfectly positioned to be responsive to our customer requirements and will better enable growth and diversification in all regions,” Mullett added.

PHI Aviation has also made a wave of new management appointments

To support the restructuring, PHI has made a number of new appointments to its leadership team, including:

• Cory Latiolais – Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the APAC region
• Jamie Mitchell – COO for the EMEA region
• Jon Rudy – Chief Commercial Officer
• Robert Pendle – Chief Technical Officer responsible for Global Standards and Fleet
• David Treadway – Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Helipass for PHI Aviation
• Mike Price – Vice President of Business Development
• Robert Bouillion will now assume responsibility for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

PHI previously announced the opening of a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Lafayette in March 2022, alongside plans to provide MRO services to external clients.
