PHI leases three more helicopters from Milestone

The helicopters include two Sikorsky S92s and one Leonardo AW139. The new aircraft bring the total number of helicopters leased by PHI from Milestone to four, joining an existing S92, also used for offshore oil rig transport.

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with PHI and to support their growing global offshore operations,” said Pat Sheedy, Milestone President and CEO. “With the delivery of these helicopters, we have quadrupled the number of Milestone-owned aircraft operating within the PHI fleet.”

“We are excited to extend our working relationship with Milestone in two of our most important markets. Increased flying activity had meant PHI’s existing, and mostly owned fleet, was fully deployed,” Keith Mullett, Managing Director, PHI Aviation, said. “This arrangement with Milestone enables us to continue to meet the increased demands for the high-quality service our customers expect.”

Milestone Aviation Group also delivered a second AW169 helicopter to UK-based operator Sloane Helicopters in July of this year.
