QAI supplies Life Flight EC135 with new tactical equipment
Dallas Avionics partnered with QAI Aviation to assist Life Flight Network’s EC135 with equipment at QAI’s hangar outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Dallas Avionics supplied QAI with the Technisonic TDAP-650 digital audio panel and TDFM 9-100 tactical radio, and the Flightcell DZMx PLUS, DZMx Plus remote control, SmartHUB, and U2C Camera for the EC135.
Dallas Avionics’ Eastern United States Territory Sales Representative Tonya McQuaide, who worked with QAI to supply it with all the equipment needed, commented: “This aircraft is vital for essential emergency medical flights in Montana, Oregon, Idaho and Washington. Any time our customers place their trust in our ability to help their customers, we work hard to make sure they have the equipment they need when they need it,” she said.
“This was the first of many aircraft that we anticipate equipping QAI with for Life Flight. We try to make sure we keep the latest equipment available for our clients not only in the eastern part of the US, but throughout all of North America. Whether it’s VIP aircraft, helicopter emergency medical services, law enforcement or other special missions, we have the equipment needed to help not only our clients, but their clients as well,” added McQuaide.
QAI Aviation and Spectrum Aeromed recently collaborated on an air medical interior for Life Flight Network’s EC135.
