RACQ LifeFlight reconfirms commitment to Covid-19 patients
Over 41 confirmed Covid-19 patients have been transported by the service so far
Queensland, Australia-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has confirmed its commitment to airlifting positive and suspected Covid-19 patients, as the global effects of the pandemic fluctuate regionally.
RACQ has stated over 41 confirmed Covid-19 patients have been airlifted on behalf of Queensland Health.
The operator also confirmed that 100 per cent of frontline staff including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and aircrew are fully vaccinated.
Although there are significant moves away from a Covid-dominated landscape, TrustAir Aviation’s Dr Istvan Lunczer recently discussed whether the global sector was entering a post-Covid period.
