RED Aircraft A03 engine

The manufacturer, which is seeking to accommodate for increased engine sales in recent years, will provide extensive training to applicant organizations ahead of authorization

Aircraft engine manufacturer RED Aircraft are seeking maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organizations to become authorized service centers for its RED A03 series of engines.

RED has stated that as part of the partnership, it will provide MRO service centers with a tailored training program to ensure that the engines’ support network is of a high standard.

The course will include two sections:

  • Theory – in which participants will learn the various mechanical systems present and how they interact together, as well as how the engine is controlled and how indications are fed back to the user
  • Practical training – featuring detailed guidance and practice on exchanging components, understanding and acting on the data provided by FADEC, and opportunities to see ground operation and simulation of the RED A03 engine.

RED manufactured engines are required to be maintained, repaired and inspected only by RED authorized organizations, and the company says that the expansion of the A03’s MRO network is intended to accommodate for a rising number of engine sales in recent years.

Enrico Evers, Head of Sales at RED Aircraft, said: “We at RED aircraft are thrilled to see the strong response in the aviation market and as we need to stay ahead of our game, we are looking for MRO organizations capable of delivering our customers the service that they deserve.”
