RED.Health now offers air ambulance services
Indian emergency medical response platform RED.Health has launched a new air ambulance service, called RED AIR Guardian
The company stated that it now has access to a fleet of over 25 aircraft stationed at airports across India, including eight ‘specialized aircraft’ capable of evacuating patients ‘from any terrain or geography’ in a ‘time and efficiently’ manner.
Additionally, the company has access to more than 10 aircraft ‘parked in different parts of the world, to cater to overseas air evacuation’.
The company said its aim was to integrate an ‘extremely fragmented’ air ambulance market into ‘one platform, to streamline cost variations and enable a committed team that can evacuate a patient safely through clinical expertise’.
“At RED.Health we take pride in reaching the patient in just 15 minutes,” said Prabhdeep Singh, Founder and CEO of RED.Health. “Taking a step forward, we are now equipped to save more and more lives in parts of the country where specialised or robust medical facilities are unavailable. Our Air Ambulance service can assist patients who need to be transferred long distance in case of emergency to a specialised medical facility.”
Indian aerospace manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) partnered with UAE-based medical service provider Response Plus Holding (RPM) in February 2023 to increase air medical emergency services provision.
