On 16 November, a Rega ambulance plane was used to repatriate a Swiss woman who was injured in the terrorist attacks in Paris. During the night of the attacks, Rega was alerted by a relative of the injured woman. The company said that the patient’s quick return was made possible thanks to the co-operation of local physicians and the Swiss Embassy in France. Little more than 48 hours after the attacks in the French capital, the injured woman was flown home in one of Rega’s three medical jets. The plane landed in Switzerland in the early afternoon of 16 November and the patient was transferred to hospital for further treatment.
