Reiser acquires Swiss Air-Rescue simulation contract
First partnership between Reiser and Leonardo as a simulation manufacturer adds AW169 to its full flight simulator product range
Reiser Simulation and Training, Germany, has expanded its flight training solutions portfolio following new contracts with Swiss Air-Rescue (Rega) and will add Leonardo aircraft to its simulator range for the first time.
Specifically, Reiser has been contracted by Rega to provide a multi-platform Level D helicopter full flight simulator, including a Leonardo AW169 equipped with a full ice protection system (FIPS).
Paolo Petrosso, Vice President of Leonardo Simulation & Training Services, commented: “We’re excited to contribute to the development and provision of the training capabilities that Rega need to maximize the performance and safety benefits [and] introducing the AW169-FIPS in their fleet to serve their community with advanced, all-weather rescue capabilities.”
Previously in 2020, the Reiser H135 T3 full flight simulator was qualified with the highest standard by the CAA Norway aviation authority.
